Cash Receipts Specialist

Overview

Process cash receipts, reconcile accounts, and support collections.

Tasks

-Partner with colleagues in Shared Services, Technology, and Sales teams to resolve issues and improve processes. Drive communication and change in a world-class organization. -Assist collection department with questions and concerns regarding incoming payments, charge backs or balances. -Perform basic office duties, such as copying and filing. -Prepare batches to be posted to the general ledger. -Investigate and resolve unallocated cash receipts. -Communicate with various banks and clients to ensure all payments are applied correctly. -Produce monthly account reconciliations. -Processes and enter high volume of daily cash receipts to credit or debit customer accounts.

What You Bring

-Basic knowledge of accounting -A track record of commitment to prior employers. -Experience and demonstrated proficiency with Excel that includes the ability to manipulate data, filter and develop basic formulas. All qualified candidates will be given an assessment to determine their knowledge of Microsoft Excel 2016. -1+ years of cash application, accounting receivable, billing, or related finance experience in a large and dynamic corporate environment -Prior knowledge of Navision (Microsoft Accounting Software) -Prior knowledge of Oracle Cloud -Detail oriented -Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College required
