Tasks

-Direct subgrade work, mixing of concrete, and setting of forms. -Produce concrete surface. -Break up and repair old concrete surfaces. -Perform quality work as determined by project specifications. -Spread concrete to a specified depth and workable consistency. -Report to and assist immediate supervisor. -Mold expansion joints and edges. -Work performed in confined areas -Sprinkle stone chips, powdered steel, or coloring powder on concrete to produce the prescribed finish. -Remove rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces and patch holes. -Compare and see differences in size, shape, and form of lines, figures, and objects. -Work extended hours on foot, including on uneven or rough surfaces. -Calculate the amounts of concrete required for each job. -Finish steps and stairways. -Climb ladders, kneel, crawl, or work at heights and in confined spaces. -Finish concrete surfaces. -Picture objects from drawings and diagrams. -Accountable for all tools and materials at the end of your shift. -Practice safety rules.

What You Bring

-Work performed at low and/or high elevations -Level, smooth, and shape freshly poured concrete. -Excessive humidity, rain, etc. -Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (assistance recommended for heavier loads). -Must work well as part of a team. -Mix and pour grout. -Follow verbal and written instructions. -Safe use of hand & power tools.
