Overview

Manage purchase orders and supplier communication for manufacturing materials.

Tasks

-Communicate regularly with suppliers to obtain updates on order status, resolve any delivery issues, and expedite shipments when necessary. -Identify and proactively address potential supply risks or bottlenecks. -Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the procurement tracking system. -Collaborate closely with internal teams, including supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing, to prioritize orders based on project schedules. -Manage open purchase orders to guarantee the timely delivery of essential materials and components.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in calling and communicating with suppliers. -Experience in open order management. -Strong organizational and communication skills with a keen attention to detail. -Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. -Experience with and understanding of buyer processes. -Familiarity with procurement systems and/or ERP systems. -3+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain, with manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
