Tasks

Collaborate effectively with project teams, other trades, and clients to ensure successful completion of work. Install, inspect, replace, and repair electrical cables, outlets, switchboxes, conduits, feeders, fiber optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, distribution systems, and other electrical components. Read and interpret schematics, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine the location and operation of industrial and commercial electrical equipment. Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, reactors, and other power equipment. Ensure compliance of installations with Quebec electrical codes (Quebec Construction Code, Chapter V - Electricity) and current safety standards. Maintain, repair, install, and test electric motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems. Install, maintain, and calibrate, if applicable, industrial instruments, sensors, and related control devices. Conduct tests on electrical and electronic equipment and components to verify continuity, current, voltage, and resistance, ensuring proper system operation. Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs and maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records. The Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments. You'll ensure that all work is performed in accordance with current codes and standards, while providing superior quality service. What You Bring
