Tasks

Role Overview As the Stormwater Lead, you will serve as the technical authority and strategic leader for stormwater projects. You'll guide design teams, manage complex projects, and develop client relationships while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and advancing sustainable water management practices. -Design stormwater conveyance systems, detention/retention facilities, and erosion control measures. -Oversee hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, etc.). -Ensure compliance with TxDOT, municipal, and FEMA standards. -Support business development through proposals, client presentations, and strategic planning. -Mentor and develop technical staff in stormwater and drainage design. -Lead stormwater planning, design, and permitting for municipal, transportation, and land development projects. -Prepare stormwater management plans, drainage reports, and floodplain analyses.

What You Bring

-Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred). -Experience with green infrastructure and low-impact development (LID) practices. -PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months). -10+ years of experience in stormwater management and drainage design. -Expertise in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and stormwater infrastructure design. -Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and GIS applications. -Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.
