Tasks
Lead, mentor and manage the Marketing and Communications team Develop internal and external communications strategies and content Manage budgets, timelines and performance reporting Lead and evolve the marketing and communications strategy for a major national engineering and construction business. This role is ideal for a strategic, creative leader with a proven track record in brand management and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating marketing and communication strategies that align with corporate objectives. This includes maintaining brand integrity, managing external partnerships, leading a high-performing team (circa 4 to 6 reports), and advising senior executives on marketing and communications best practice. Conduct market, client, and competitor research to inform strategic decision-making Maintain and develop key external partnerships and represent the business at key events Develop, oversee and execute comprehensive marketing and communication campaigns Act as brand custodian, ensuring consistency and integrity across all communications Advise senior leadership on strategic marketing and branding direction Drive continuous improvement initiatives and oversee brand governance -Strategic leadership role shaping and driving multi-brand marketing initiatives

What You Bring
7–10 years’ experience in a similar strategic marketing leadership role Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation abilities Experience within the construction or engineering industry is highly desirable They are currently seeking an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager to lead and oversee all marketing, branding and communication functions across the group of companies. This role will suit a dynamic, forward-thinking professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys driving strategic initiatives that elevate brand awareness and support business growth. Proven experience managing a brand and communications team Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects concurrently Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
