Tasks

-Manages staff responsible for feasibility studies, design, and construction administration of water, wastewater, and reclaimed water projects. -Participates in proposal writing and contract review processes. -Oversees hiring, mentoring, and direction of team members. -Builds and nurtures relationships with state regulatory authorities. -Assigns and prioritizes projects to ensure schedules are met. -Collaborates with the Water Practice Lead to develop, maintain, and implement strategic, business development, and operational plans for the Facilities Team. -Identifies and mitigates risk management issues. -Manages and serves as a technical resource for complex project deliverables. -Reviews and approves proposals and contracts for scope, fee, and quality. -Supports the team in resolving complex challenges. -Ensures portfolio of projects stay within budget. -Implements quality management processes. -Functions as a project manager for complex projects. -Sets goals, monitors progress and evaluates outcomes to align with firm objectives. -Develops strong relationships with current and prospective clients, including municipalities, River Authorities, and local agencies.

What You Bring

-Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas -Extensive experience in management, supervision, and leadership. -Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field. -15+ years of civil engineering experience, focused on water and wastewater treatment and facilities engineering. -Demonstrated success in leading large-scale projects for municipalities and public agencies. -Strong written and verbal communication skills.
