Tasks

-Shape and implement procurement and contract strategies that align with client objectives and regulatory frameworks -Provide executive-level oversight of commercial operations across multi-disciplinary programmes -Mentor and develop junior commercial staff, building future capability -Streamlining and enhancing operational workflows; -Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, regulators, and delivery partners -Manage post-contract commercial performance, change control, and final accounts -Support work winning through commercial insight and bid strategy -Developing a premier capability and team; -Ensure compliance with NEC3/4, FIDIC, UK law, and sector-specific regulations -Proactively engaging with markets and suppliers; -Define and execute commercial strategy across multi-workstream programmes -Oversee cost planning, benchmarking, and value engineering -Provide strategic input into feasibility studies and programme controls -Drive commercial governance and reporting across all phases -Lead contract negotiation, supplier performance, and risk management -Maintain a robust knowledge base of lessons learned and commercial best practices -Collaborate with leadership to shape client-focused proposals -Champion commercial innovation, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across the portfolio.

What You Bring

-Excellent client-facing and supply chain engagement abilities -Right to work in the UK; role subject to client interview and acceptance -In-depth knowledge of CDM regulations and risk management -Familiarity with ECI/ESI in design & build programmes -Strong financial modelling and commercial problem-solving skills -Sector experience in water, environment, defence, or nuclear -NEC3/4 contract expertise (Options A, C, E essential) -Valid CSCS card; Water Hygiene Card desirable
