Lead mechanical engineering for subsea equipment design and client solutions

Tasks
-Interpreting client specifications and translate them into compliant, cost-effective technical solutions. -Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management, manufacturing, sourcing, and project engineering. -Mentoring junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the team. -Supporting risk assessments, design reviews, and lessons learned activities. -Developing and reviewing mechanical designs, layouts, and technical documentation for subsea systems and components. -Ensuring solutions meet applicable industry standards (API, ISO), internal design practices, and customer requirements. -Leading mechanical engineering input for subsea tenders, studies, and early engagement activities. -Providing technical support to commercial teams during bid preparation and client presentations.

What You Bring
-Be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. -Have a strong understanding of Subsea Production Systems, with detailed knowledge of Subsea Christmas Trees, Tubing Hangers and their associated tooling. -Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. -Have experience of requirement management and interface management, and proficiency in the use of relevant software (e.g. DOORs, SmartPDF) -Have proven experience in mechanical design or application engineering within the subsea oil & gas sector. -Be proficient in the use of engineering software (e.g. AutoCAD, MathCAD, Teamcenter) -Have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
