Field Service Technician

Overview

Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of wind turbines on customer sites

Tasks

-Proactively plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities for wind turbines to ensure optimal performance. -Investigate reported problems and identify/analyze any undesirable trends, made problems for findings -Ensure timely and accurate completion of technical and business documentation. -Coordinate with cross functional team like ROC, engineering, and work on solving site technical issues. -Deliver high-quality service solutions to customers, encompassing operations, SCADA, maintenance, and troubleshooting of wind energy products. -Corrective maintenance of wind turbines and perform repair /replacement of electronic components, motors, brushes etc. -Realization of internal and external components in wind turbines -Comply with instruction and compliance guidelines, as well as company EHS standards and procedures -Support wind energy projects as needed, fulfilling various duties within the scope of operations and maintenance.

What You Bring

-Onshore / wind service experience in O&M and troubleshooting. -Ability / Willingness to work at height up to 150 mtr height. -Min 2-4 years Wind turbine field service preferably in GE turbine. -Verbal and written communication skills in English, ensuring effective interaction and clear documentation. -Experience in TQM audits/ Kaizen / PDR -ITI/Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical, Electronics or Power Electronics Engineering). -Experience in soft skill such MS excel etc. -Exposure to sourcing and supplier qualification processes -Comfortable working at heights for operations and maintenance tasks. -Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle (for example); -Basic knowledge on major component replacement activities.
