Tasks

-Collaborate with management to develop and implement safe, gradual return to work plans, including assigning suitable transitional duties. -Use hands to finger, handle, or feel: Operates a computer and other office machinery - Constantly – at least 51% -Provide support in the allocation of insurance premiums, legal, and claims invoices -Run, review, and build reports in ESIS/GRA and other Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS) -Oversee the lifecycle of workers' compensation and auto claims, ensuring timely filing and efficient resolution with insurance adjusters -Implement, organize, and coordinate limited duty activity assignments; Liaise with medical providers and adjusters to monitor treatment, understand employee work status, and align care with return-to-work goals -Maintain accurate and comprehensive claim files and records, ensuring the organization adheres to all relevant state and federal workers' compensation laws and reporting requirements

-Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, tasks, and initiatives -Exposed to unpleasant or disagreeable physical environment such as high noise level and/or exposure to heat and cold - None -Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl: Must be able to crouch down to stock shelves, pick up boxes, or position oneself to maintain computers in the lab/under desks/in server closet - None -Climb or balance: Must be able to ascend/descend on a ladder, forklift, pallet jack, or other warehouse equipment - None -Up to 25 pounds - None -Sit: Must be able to remain in a stationary position - Constantly – at least 51% -Talk, hear, taste, smell: Must be able to use senses to effectively communicate with co-workers and clients and detect hazardous conditions - Constantly – at least 51% -High energy level, self-starter, proactive and results-oriented -Experience with Risk Management Information systems -Up to 10 pounds - Occasionally – up to 20% -Handles or works with potentially dangerous equipment - None -Up to 50 pounds - None -Proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Power BI) -Travels to offsite locations - None -Understanding of workers’ compensation laws, regulations and claims adjusting principles -Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through -Walk: Must be able to move about inside/outside office or work location - Frequently – 21% to 50% -Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent - Required -Understanding of basic insurance principles and coverages -3+ years of experience working as a Claims Coordinator within a corporate Risk Management team
