The Role

Overview

Deliver H&S advice, audits, investigations & reporting for a manufacturing firm.

Tasks

-Oversee incident and near miss investigations, providing the necessary input to ensure that the true root cause is identified and appropriate preventative action(s) are put in place. -Provide competent support, advice, and guidance on safety legislation and good practices to all levels of the business. -Write and review internal health and safety documentation. -Data evaluation and production of monthly and ad hoc reports. -Undertake and contribute to H&S projects. -Plan and undertake audits as per the established audit schedule.

What You Bring

-Demonstration of professional competence and development through providing evidence of continuing professional development. -NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent qualification preferred, but minimum NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety required. -ISO 45001 Internal Auditor (preferred but not essential). -Intermediate standard of IT, including competent use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). -In-depth knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act and associated legislation and ACOPS. -Ability to positively influence others. -Preferably have had experience within a manufacturing environment within a health & safety role.
