The Role
Overview
Manage PJM accounting, GL entries, billing, and financial reporting using SAP.

Tasks
-Gather, compile, and review weekly/monthly PJM activity to process weekly billings, record monthly GL acitivty, and distribute monthly records. -Identify inconsistencies and problems and work to resolve them. -Identify areas for increased process automation and other efficiencies and work to implement them. -Routinely interact with both internal and external customers. -Participate in and perform quarterly and year-end Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) financial reporting requirements and responsibilities. -Participate in month-end, quarterly, and year-end closings and financial reporting activities. -Conduct complex assignments and analysis involving the day-to-day maintenance of the general ledger. -Perform appropriate accounting controls.
