Tasks

-Embrace H&M’s safety culture by following safe work practices and policies – leading by example. -Maintain compliance with customers’ security requirement ensuring junior team members comply. -Mentors’ technicians and installers to complete their tasks and responsibilities. -Primarily responsible for all onsite construction activities including managing a crew, embracing, and promoting the company’s safety culture, managing productivity, and helping to meet project milestones and/or budget. -Proactively manages job site organization and housekeeping.

What You Bring

-Ability to listen carefully and follow instructions and make recommendations. -Ability to effectively communicate daily milestones and manage crew’s productivity to ensure keeping to project timelines. -Must be able to climb ladders and perform the necessary work while on the ladder. -Industry Certifications as plus. (i.e. CommScope, Hilti, Panduit, etc.) -Solid team player exhibits a positive attitude, high attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. -Must have own tools. -Ability to effectively communicate and maintain top notch relationships with both internal and external customers and other onsite trades. -6+ years directly related experience, including managing crews of 10+ installers/technicians. -BICSI Certification preferred/not required. -Advanced technical knowledge in the structured cabling industry required. -Ability to work varying shifts. -Ability to read and interpret drawings, floor plans, specifications and cut sheets. -Must be able to safely lift 50 pounds and carry 25 pounds. -Must be able to stoop, kneel, and crouch. -Ability to work in Microsoft Excel & Outlook applications required. -Broad problem-solving skills. -Ability to travel to multiple job sites in primarily in Maryland, but may include DC and Virginia. -Ability to utilize company specific applications required.
