Overview
Lead IT/OT strategy, projects and digitalization for a Houston manufacturing site

Tasks
-Collaborate with site representatives to identify and define the site's IT requirements and to bring them to completion. -Responsible for all end-to-end IT projects, applications, IT services, and IT infrastructure in the site. Driver for leveraging digitalization potential for modernization of site operations. Implement IT security protection concepts -Trusted Advisor: Be an effective connector between, business, end users and all functions of IT -Define & develop the site's IT architecture and landscape and implement the associated IT roadmaps - coordinated with the Global site Business partners and aligned with SE IT reference architecture. -Driving business value using IT: you proactively identify and promote the use of IT solutions, with the aim of supporting and optimizing business processes in the best possible way

What You Bring
-Proven experience in partnering with a business, cross functional teams, analyzing and strategizing requirements from a technical and business perspective as well as taking ownership of IT/OT related topics at site and driving resolution -Demand Management, Vendor coordination, Budgeting, managing site CyberSec & InfoSec related issues. Understanding of MES applications will be an added advantage -Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers. -Advocate for the business. Leverages business understanding and proximity to lead, guide and enable good IT decisions that benefit business performance -Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent qualification with 5+ years in managing IT projects or Manufacturing plant/sites experience. Will also consider Master's degree with 3+ years of experience. -Track record of supporting and driving local and global digitalization initiatives. Successfully managed IT and OT Infrastructure implementation (LAN, Switch configuration, Firewall, Testbeds etc.) -Analytical mind and able to identify and process different ideas and opinions independently and summarize them for possible solutions to stakeholders and executives. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
