The Role

Overview

Lead a team of incident responders and manage traffic management operations for Transmission Gully.

Tasks

-Respond to incidents (planned and unplanned), including evenings and weekends -Conduct audits, reporting, and site condition ratings -Manage plant, technology, and resources to maximise utilisation and reduce costs -Liaise with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery -Maintain strong relationships with clients and field staff to ensure contract success -Organise training for TTM staff and ensure compliance with NZGTTM standards -Identify and manage hazards, ensuring all staff and subcontractors are fit and competent -Help keep the community and road users safe -Coordinate daily operations, including rostering and deployment of traffic management crews -Champion continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence

What You Bring

-STMS certification preferred -Solid experience in traffic management or roading operations -Familiarity with industry codes of practice and safety standards -Strong working knowledge of NZGTTM and CoPTTM compliance -Minimum Class 1 driver’s licence -Proven leadership experience managing teams and subcontractors -Relevant tertiary qualifications (advantageous)
