The Role
Overview
Provide technical sales support and engineering submittals for Hilti anchor/fastening products.

Tasks
-Collect customer data and provide leads to Field Engineers in order to maximize coverage and penetration in the field -Meet assigned deadlines for project assignments -Provide Field Engineer territory coverage as agreed with MO Technical Service management -Complete defined projects (e.g. presentation and intranet development, small testing projects, and other engineering assignments) in order to help support the activities of Hilti Field Engineers and other sales’ personnel -Create engineering product submittals for field personnel to facilitate the sale of key products -Provide engineering support through the composition of letters regarding the application of Hilti products for external customers -Protect Hilti from liability exposure through utilization of sound engineering judgment -Understand and apply approvals and listings for Hilti Anchor and DF products correctly in verbal and written communication with customers -Provide technical sales support through telephone and email related business -Provide Field Engineers with corporate support and relevant product information

What You Bring
-Ability to identify, analyze, and solve technical problems -Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required – Civil or Structural preferred -E.I.T. preferred -Aptitude to read and understand blueprints, construction specifications, and documents -Ability to effectively use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint -Desires to relocate to Western United States locations after 2 years in role, required -Ability to organize and utilize large amounts of reference information both in hardcopy and electronic files -Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, architects, contractors, and Hilti personnel through verbal and written response -Hardhat, safety vest, safety glasses, gloves, steel toe boots, and long pants required for working jobsites; must observe and abide by any and all safety regulations as required by Hilti, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and General Contractors -Remain current in the knowledge of building codes relative to the application of Hilti Anchor and DF products -Must be able to walk on construction projects, climb scaffolding, and lift and carry up to 65 pounds of Hilti product -Job requires walking on construction sites and uneven surfaces, as well as climbing scaffolding, ladders, and stairs during all seasons of the year -Ability to function effectively on teams
