Tasks
-Leads ongoing property valuations, reviews developed strategies for maximizing value, and develops hold/sell analysis in partnership with the assigned sector team. -Stays informed of real estate / property industry, market and property-specific research as well as competitive fund analyses to stay well-informed and ahead of trends and current issues impacting the real estate management business. -Maintains and grows relationships with real estate and property management industry experts, strategic partners, investors and fiduciaries to identify industry trends, discover potential capital sources and promote the organization's brand. -Works to support the fund raising and investor relations efforts including: setting and executing capital raising strategy, annual investor conference, advisory committee meetings, Due Diligence Questionnaire (DDQ) and Request for Proposal (RFP) review, fulfilling investor requests for information, investor on-site meetings, and ongoing investor relations management. -Works with real estate asset management, finance, and performance measurement teams to obtain portfolio/asset information and prepare performance analyses and reports that support the financial business decisions and development of the organization's portfolio management activity. -Reviews and approves investment memorandums and presents to management committees for investments. -Manages performance of team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of real estate portfolio management projects and engagement, motivation, and development of team. -Evaluates extensive proprietary financial models to monitor and analyze the financial performance of the real estate portfolio, potential new investments, and financing. -Assesses the existing and potential operating characteristics of each real estate and/or property investment (i.e. revenue, expenses, capital expenditures, tenant credit, leases).
