Tasks

-Oversee designs and drawings, including both steady-state and dynamic power analyses. -Provide leadership in technical and design services for renewable DER (distributed energy resources) projects from large-scale commercial to utility-scale. Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary cross-engineering team which includes mechanical, structural, survey, and civil disciplines.

What You Bring

-Enjoys working alone when required but can work effectively on a project team. -NABCEP certification is welcomed -Experience with steady-state and dynamic power analyses (ETAP and potentially OpenDSS, PSCAD, and PSS/E). -Experience using Autocad and/or Revit software is required. -10+ YEARS OF EXPEREINCE IN ELECTRICAL POWERS SYSTEMS -Must maintain a high level of precision and accuracy and be methodical in approach to work. -Multiple office locations to work from: Stick close to home or travel for a change of scenery -Experience with NEC, NESC, and IEEE codes and standards is appreciated. -Able to complete work consistently with flexibility to accommodate varying project demands. -PE Licensure in GA, NC or PA is welcomed -B.S. in Electrical Engineering -High technical ability, interested in technology and staying current in his field. -Willing communicator and able to ask questions when necessary. -Experience with MV and substation interconnection/protection is welcome. -Good ability to communicate and a self-starter.
