The Role

Overview

Manage cost admin tasks: invoicing, WIP, SAP data, month-end reporting, and client billing.

Tasks

-Process equipment, materials, and labour invoicing in SAP efficiently and accurately. -Maintain the integrity of financial data in SAP through setting up service order jobs, work breakdown structures, and rate tables. -Facilitate cost allocations in client systems as required. -Communicate regularly with Site and Finance Leads to ensure smooth operations. -Apply your knowledge of Lump Sum projects/ETC’s and Schedule of Rates jobs to meet contract requirements. -Support cost control functions, client invoicing, and debtor recovery activities aligned with contractual and company policies. -Ensure timely and accurate client invoicing, including liaising with clients to re-open purchase orders when required. -Manage WIP balances and reconcile systems effectively. -Assist with month-end financial reporting and processes within set deadlines and accuracy requirements. -Follow up on missing hours/discrepancies with Payroll, Site Leads, and Employees promptly.

What You Bring

-Able to adapt to changes in work processes and learn new systems quickly. -5+ years’ experience in project or finance-related roles. -Advanced MS Excel skills. -Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team. -Confident in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines effectively. -Tertiary education in Finance or Accounting is an advantage. -Detail-oriented, with the ability to work across multiple systems efficiently. -Experience with SAP (highly preferred). -Strong customer focus, team-oriented, and results-driven. -Equipped with strong communication skills—both oral and written.
