Provide analytical support for asset management, including modeling, budgeting, and market analysis.

Tasks
-Provide assistance to asset managers on assets whilst under management, dispositions and refinancings, as requested. Gather and organize property information; help prepare materials for pitchbooks and deal rooms; help evaluate purchase offers, etc. -Prepare and maintain property cash flow models in Excel to support budgeting, valuation and investment decision making. Prepare and maintain investment models to calculate investment returns and cash flow waterfalls. -Periodically accompany asset managers on site visits to develop relationships with the property team and to evaluate the condition of the property, housekeeping and grounds. -Gather and analyze market data to understand each property’s position in the market. Support asset managers to ensure properties are competitively priced relative to their competitive set. -Gather and organize materials used to support property valuations. Interface with third-party appraisers and brokers, responding to questions. -Support the asset management and acquisition teams on various underwriting and due diligence activities. -Act as a team member with all Hines employees. -Assist with requests related to lender reporting, such as preparing cash flow projections to ensure compliance with DSCR and LTV covenants. -Participate in the annual budgeting process. Review materials prepared by operating partners and property managers. Prepare summary schedules. Help prepare asset management plans for presentation to senior management. -Serve as a team member of various project teams as required to facilitate company needs. -Comply with all Hines policies and procedures. -Attend industry events to learn about innovative technologies, market trends, etc.

What You Bring
-Degree in Estate Management, Property Economics or equivalent,. -Ability to manage a variety of tasks within a tight time schedule. -Well organized with a strong attention to detail. -Ability to work independently and needs a minimum oversight. -Ability to think creatively and contribute to project success. -Proficiency with Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Argus valuation software is valuable. -Excellent verbal and written communications skills. -Ability to analyze real estate from a strategic point of view. -Excellent interpersonal skills. -One to two years’ experience working in the commercial real estate industry for a real estate company with responsibility for financial analysis, leasing/marketing activity oversight, and execution of strategic plans.
