The Role

Overview

Install, program, and troubleshoot low voltage systems on construction projects

Tasks

-Act as a liaison between project management team, other trades and customers, partnering with the superintendent and foremen regarding production schedule, scope changes, back charges, material and labor management. -Perform installation, troubleshooting, programming, and configuration of access control, CCTV, networking and IP-based cameras. -Coordinate with local inspectors and serve as the technical advisor on-site to ensure all quality and code requirements are met. -Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and specifications operational/product manuals. -Travel to different jobsites in designated region as needed. -Demonstrate and uphold all of Power Design’s core values, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation and growth. -Establish and maintain relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction, quality of service, and long-term relations with Power Design.

What You Bring

-BICSI Installer certification preferred. -5-8+ years of related low voltage work experience, preferably with large-scale new construction projects. -Access Control and/or CCTV Manufacturer certifications required. -Ability to travel as required and must possess valid driver’s license. -Proficient knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes and construction safety requirements.
