The Role

Overview

Manage pipeline capacity requests, data, and system enhancements using DART.

Tasks

-Maintain point and segment capacities in coordination with Engineering, ensuring alignment between commercial commitments and physical system capabilities. -Conduct regular grid exception reviews to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accurate capacity allocation and reporting. -Serve as the primary point of contact for handling the majority of capacity requests, ensuring timely and accurate processing in alignment with contractual obligations and operational constraints. -Monitor and respond to the TGP Capacity Inbox, fielding incoming inquiries and providing prompt, knowledgeable support to internal and external stakeholders. -Build and maintain transportation service agreements, including reservations (RFCs), ensuring data integrity and consistency across systems. -Maintain, test, and implement enhancements to DART (Dynamic Allocation and Reporting Tool) functions, collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to improve system performance and user experience. -Review and approve capacity requests, contracts, amendments, and Right of First Refusal (ROFR) renewals, maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with internal systems such as DART or similar scheduling and capacity management platforms. -Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments including Engineering, IT, and Scheduling. -3–5 years of experience in pipeline operations, capacity management, or contract administration. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. -Minimum 2 years of experience in a data-driven or analytical role, preferably within the energy or pipeline industry. -Experience working with IT teams to test and implement system changes. -Prior experience with DART or similar internal systems. -Working knowledge of FERC regulations and pipeline tariffs. -Ability to interpret and apply tariff rules and regulatory guidelines to capacity management decisions. -Understanding of tariff-based capacity rules and regulatory compliance. -Ability to manage a high volume of email correspondence and prioritize tasks effectively. -Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools. -Experience in testing and validating system enhancements or code changes. -Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
