Overview
Create and manage public engagement content, events, and communications for projects.

Tasks
-Coordinates the printing of designed deliverables -Plan and staff community meetings, including in-person events, virtual events, pop-ups, and focus groups -Maintains engagement and inquiry logs -Manage and respond to project inquiries through a hotline or email -Draft event summaries and other engagement reports -Analyze and summarize engagement data, including comments, survey responses, or other feedback received at events -Travel to facilities and other related locations as necessary to place collateral or attend events. Some night and weekend event attendance will be required. -Coordinates directly with Engagement Designers, Engagement Managers, Project Managers, and Clients to create and plan written content for public projects through multiple channels -Prepare written communication materials, including content for websites, flyers, newsletters, social media posts, fact sheets, e-blasts, and postcards

What You Bring
-General understanding of engineering, construction, and planning industry; knowledge of marketing/client databases, and knowledge of proposal processes is preferred -Skilled in plain language, which includes making technical content plain for the public -Strong skills in client need assessment, meeting quality standards for service (reviewing designs and proofreading) prior to publishing or printing, and evaluation of client satisfaction -Ability to multi-task multiple projects while meeting deadlines and quality standard -One or more years' experience in writing marketing communications such as press releases, newsletters, infographics, email, website content, and social media preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience -Experience in event planning preferred -Possess a valid driver's license as travel to various job sites or meetings will be required -Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite -Excellent customer service -Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field from an accredited College or University
