Resident Technical Officer (Coastal)

Tasks

-Review technical submissions, method statements, risk assessments, and variation orders, providing verification and recommendations. -Monitor project progress, inspect works, and maintain records, including material usage, vessel movements, and equipment logs. -Supervise site works, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety regulations, and environmental standards. -Assist the Resident Engineer (RE) in managing site activities, maintaining quality control, and enforcing workplace safety. -Assist with administrative duties, including report preparation, document control, and progress tracking. -Conduct safety audits, ensure defect rectifications, and oversee final handovers. -Operate drones and remote-operated vehicles for site documentation (training provided). -Liaise with contractors, consultants, and authorities, ensuring proper execution of work plans and regulatory compliance.

What You Bring

-Strong English communication and report-writing skills. -Accredited Resident Technical Officer (RTO) by IES/ACES. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office, scheduling software, and IT tools for documentation. -Knowledge of marine operations, dredgers, barges, and MPA regulations. -Must pass internal security clearance by the Employer and Singapore Government. -Accredited RTO by IES/ACES, with at least 3 years’ site supervisory experience, including 2 years in land reclamation, marine construction, or coastal development.
