Tasks

-Develop and implement sophisticated hydrological models to assess water resources and flood risks -Stay current with emerging technologies and methodologies in the field of hydrology -Conduct detailed hydrological analyses and interpret complex data sets -Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams on large-scale water resource projects -Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders -Ensure compliance with local and international water regulations and policies -Participate in business development activities and proposal writing -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hydrological considerations into broader engineering projects -Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the team

What You Bring

-Detail-oriented approach with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities -Proficiency in GIS software, including ArcGIS or QGIS -Master's degree in Hydrology, Water Resources Engineering, or a closely related field -Programming skills in languages such as Python or R -Willingness to travel to project sites as needed -Demonstrated experience in flood risk assessment and management -Project management experience, including the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams -Knowledge of local and international water regulations and policies -Advanced knowledge of hydrological modeling software such as HEC-HMS and SWMM -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -In-depth understanding of hydrological processes and water resource management -Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in hydrology or water resources engineering -Strong data analysis and statistical skills -Excellent technical writing and report preparation abilities -Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
