Tasks

The Electrical Engineer will work with our team in a lead role on a variety of decarbonization/electrification/renewable energy projects to develop projects in feasibility stages all the way through design and construction. A successful candidate will be able to work well in a team, mentor junior engineers, and communicate effectively with clients. -Interact directly with clients by completing analysis of design options, cost benefit comparisons, and communicating results to assist in decision making process -Design building electrical systems -Design photovoltaic, battery storage systems, and grid interconnection -Field investigations to document existing conditions -Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and utility requirements

What You Bring

-Well-rounded experience in building electrical system and/or distributed energy system design -New York State Professional Engineer's license is a plus -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -2-4 years of relevant experience -Experience with Revit or AutoCAD -Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred
