Tasks

-Follow Quality Assurance and Quality Control Plans -Manage multiple assignments concurrently -Be responsible for continuing education and learning based on project needs, as well as the overall needs of the team -Worked as an engineer sub-consultant to architectural building design firms -Keep accurate and up-to-date project accounting on all assigned projects -Participate in client relations and project pursuits -Utilize Microsoft Excel-based calculation tools for design calculations -Utilizing CAD and BIM design software to produce construction drawings -Be responsible for time management and product quality

What You Bring

-Knowledge of electrical engineering and sustainability principles -Technically competent in building electrical systems including power distribution systems, lighting systems, and telecommunications systems. -Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering with an electrical focus from an ABET-accredited university of college. -Must be proficient with MS Office Suite -Must have strong communication skills -Registered Professional Engineer (PE) -5 to 15 years of building design and construction industry experience -Proven experience overseeing electrical designs, including detailed plans and specifications for building projects -Experience with Autodesk Revit -Ability to communicate with and interact with building owner representatives and architectural clients -Ability to perform electrical related calculations -Knowledge of building components and systems
