Tasks

-Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements -Evaluate benefits utilization and employee feedback to improve offerings and cost efficiency continuously -Oversee payroll audits, reconciliations, and process improvements to strengthen accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. -Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of health, wellness, retirement, and leave programs. -Develop and manage competitive compensation structures, salary bands, and incentive programs that align with company goals and market benchmarks. -Lead pay equity analyses and ensure compliance with all applicable wage and hour laws. -Partner with HR and executive leadership to conduct annual compensation reviews and make recommendations for merit increases, promotions, and adjustments. -Collaborate cross-functionally with Human Resources and Talent Acquisition to ensure cohesive and compliant total rewards practices. -Lead and support the payroll team to ensure accurate, timely processing of multi-state payrolls and maintain high standards of accountability. -Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Benefits and Payroll team, fostering accountability and growth. -Serve as the company’s subject-matter expert on total rewards philosophy, compliance, and market trends -Drive the annual benefits renewal and open enrollment strategy, aligning vendor partnerships and employee engagement to deliver a high-value total rewards experience.

What You Bring

-5+ years of progressive experience in compensation, benefits, or total rewards; 2+ years leading teams. -Strong knowledge of FLSA, ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, and other relevant regulations. -Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master’s or CCP/CBP preferred. -Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems (Workday, Paycom, ADP, etc.) and advanced Excel skills. -Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills. -Demonstrated success in balancing strategy with operational execution in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
