Tasks

-Lead the testing and commissioning oversight function on behalf of the Client, ensuring all systems meet contractual and safety requirements. -Coordinate with systems assurance, RAMS, and design review teams to validate readiness for testing and operational handover. -Monitor and evaluate the contractor’s testing and commissioning progress, performance, and compliance with approved methodologies. -Maintain comprehensive records, progress dashboards, and reports to support project governance and decision-making. -Provide input to risk assessments and mitigation plans related to system testing and commissioning readiness. -Review and verify test documentation, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Integration Tests (SIT), and System Integration Tests (SIT). -Oversee interface management between systems, civil, and operational elements to ensure full system integration. -Ensure safety and reliability objectives are achieved in line with EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129, and other applicable standards. -Support the Client in managing stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and operators, ensuring alignment on testing deliverables and acceptance criteria. -Participate in readiness reviews, safety audits, and witness testing as part of PMC oversight activities. -Review and approve contractors’ T&C strategies, plans, procedures, and schedules, ensuring alignment with design specifications and regulatory frameworks. -Provide technical assurance during design development, ensuring that commissioning requirements are incorporated into design deliverables.

What You Bring

-Strong knowledge of railway systems (signalling, communications, traction power, rolling stock, SCADA, etc.). -Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Master’s degree preferred). -In-depth understanding of systems assurance, RAMS, and safety certification processes. -Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills. -Minimum 15 years of experience in the rail industry, with significant exposure to testing, commissioning, and systems integration in metro or rail projects. -Proven experience in reviewing and validating contractor T&C deliverables, integration strategies, and performance testing. -Familiarity with international standards (EN 50126 / 50128 / 50129) and UAE regulatory requirements. -Proficiency in project management and document control systems
