The Role
Overview
Admin hub handling shipping/receiving, visitor support, and paperwork.
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Provides instruction to truck drivers arriving onsite – distributes packing slips, directions and safety guidelines -Receives products from UPS/FedEx and verifies contents against packing slips -Coordinates with Dispatch and Production Leads to provide direction to truck drivers, vendors and other visitors once they arrive onsite -Completes all filing for plant shipping/receiving/will call -Processes paperwork for drop shipments -Assists Plant Manager with expense reports and operating expenditures -Performs shipping confirmations: sorts labels; prints invoices and driver detail; organizes paperwork to put in driver packets -Provides backup support to other plant team members -Performs general administrative support for plant and other duties as directed by the Plant Manager -Receives purchase orders into ERP system; verifies and closes purchase orders when receiving is complete -Maintains counts of the number of trucks/pallets/bundles of trench shipped and reports daily to Plant Manager -Order new supplies in a timely manner -Coordinate with outside vendors for delivery of materials and execution of outsourced projects -Retrieves mail delivered by USPS and distributes weekly

What You Bring
-Experience with ERP (i.e. AX, SAP), Excel, Microsoft Word, and Access programs; or similar programs -Knowledge of shipping and transportation procedures -Proficient with computer keyboard; able to type 30 wpm -Able to multi-task -Minimum high school diploma or equivalent -Able to create interdepartmental communications and customer correspondence as needed -2+ years of customer service experience with excellent telephone communication skills -Communicate and collaborate with other team members
