Summer associate supporting real estate development across full project lifecycle.

Tasks
-Support development directors on active projects through financial analysis, due diligence, and market research. -Collaborate with construction management, investment, and operations teams to ensure alignment across project stages. -Prepare materials for senior management and investment committee meetings. -Develop a comprehensive understanding of the development lifecycle, including acquisition, entitlement, design, construction, and lease-up. -Participate in design coordination and entitlement efforts, interfacing with architects, consultants, and local agencies. -Build technical skills in financial modeling, project budgeting, and market evaluation. -Analyze project budgets, schedules, and pro formas to support decision-making throughout the development process. -Assist in underwriting and evaluating new development opportunities, including preparation of investment memoranda and presentation materials for internal review. -Conduct research on local market dynamics, construction costs, and capital trends to inform development strategy.

What You Bring
-Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. -Current MBA or Master's student (Class of 2027) with a focus in Real Estate, Finance, Architecture, or Construction Management. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex ideas. -Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with development modeling preferred. -3–5+ years of prior professional experience in real estate development, project management, construction, or related fields. -Deepen understanding of how Greystar integrates development, investment, and operations to create long-term value. -Exposure to end-to-end development processes across Greystar’s national and regional platforms.
