The Role

Tasks

-Monitor the management labor on every project under their direction to ensure that budgeted labor is met and not exceeded. This will include managing the construction process to ensure that the management is allocated at the correct phases of the project and not over or understaffed. -Ensure project compliance with the QC and Safety program. -Write scopes of work for subcontractors and work with corporate representatives regarding issuance of subcontracts, manage scope and price construction change orders while managing schedules, close outs, and job costs. -Effectively Conduct Owners meeting to ensure there is a complete understanding of the project and any current issues or outstanding questions. -Perform timely inspections and uses the deficiency log to have a 0-punch list project. -Ensure all work is installed per the work plan document and that quality is met by utilizing the QCP. -Lead and guide their team through all safety protocols. -Plan and carry out policies related to the management of multiple construction projects at multiple locations or a long-term project. -Manage the submittal process. -Manage subcontractors and coordinate subcontractor work to ensure the project schedule is met. -Develop the required reports and submit to the government. -Identifying and resolving problems and conflicts early by utilizing specific controls established in the QCP.

What You Bring

-5 years of federal government contracting experience in Construction. -5-10 years of construction project management is required. -Ability to pass a background check for working on government projects. -Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field in strongly preferred. -Strong technical skills and computer skills are necessary to be successful in this role. -Current USACE CQM-C Certification, OSHA 30, First Aid / CPR / AED, and ASHE HCC certification. -Understands construction sequencing and is able to conceptually build the project schedule in its entirety and execute. -Understands private client and/or government documentation requirements.
