Tasks

-Depending on the jurisdiction and matter in question, represents the company before judicial tribunals, governmental agencies and in dispute resolution proceedings, -Develops, implements and updates relevant legal policies and guidelines. -Focuses on preventing legal and contractual problems. -Follows changes in laws and regulations and advise on how they impact KONE -Ensures that shareholders’ meetings, board meetings and related filings and documentation are timely done in compliance with applicable laws and reported under the KONE Company Files policy. -Collaborates with business colleagues to achieve targeted business results with acceptable level of legal risk -Provides training on legal areas affecting KONE’s business. -Reviews, drafts and negotiates contracts and other legal documents. -Resolves legal disputes. -Maintains and coordinates contacts with external lawyers and related advisors. -Maintains strong connections with colleagues within KONE to share best practices and to understand current and future needs. -Coordinates legal proceedings before courts, government agencies, or other authorities so that the organization’s interests are protected. -Drafts contract templates. -Advises the organization in legal matters as required.
