Tasks

-Coordinate with agencies on the details, delivery, and pickup of surplus items. -Assist with bi-annual physical inventory of the Surplus Distribution Centers. -Process agency transfers and communicate with warehouse staff. -Review and research surplus data submitted by agencies to ensure accuracy. -Understand and enforce rules and regulations in accordance with the State Finance Law, auction contract, and internal procedures. -Prepare and produce daily sales listings for public view. -Create, modify, maintain, and process records and transactions using the State Surplus Property Database (SSP) as well as the NYS Store’s online site. -Gather, compile, and prepare data for reports on agency transfers and online sales. -Coordinate and schedule sales dates. -Gather information and correspond with the public regarding questions on items offered for sale.
