Tasks

This role involves coordinating electrical works, work crews, subcontractors, liaising with project management and engineering teams, and upholding safety and quality assurance protocols in a high-risk industrial environment. The Electrical Supervisor oversees all electrical construction and installation activities during the construction of the works and are responsible for ensuring electrical installations are executed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards and project specifications. -Develop and manage procurement schedules aligned with construction milestones. -Work alongside high-performing professionals in a forward-thinking, collaborative environment that values excellence -Maintain supplier and vendor relationships to ensure quality and specification compliance. -Promote a strong HSE culture across all disciplines. -Monitor inventory, material tracking, and resolve delivery or quality issues. -Coordinate electrical readiness for commissioning activities. -Support functional testing, system integration, and handover to operations. -Be part of Australia’s Big Build, contributing to a high-impact infrastructure project that will assist in elevating your career. -Implement ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans) and ensure traceability of equipment and installations. -Coordinate loop checking, pre-commissioning, and energisation activities. -Ensure design-to-field alignment by reviewing IFC drawings, responding to RFIs, and managing change. -Source, evaluate, and order long-lead and critical path equipment. -Coordinate logistics for timely delivery of materials to site. -Comply with environmental and statutory regulations during execution. -Enforce compliance with electrical standards (e.g., AS/NZS 3000), hazardous area classification, and testing protocols. -Maintain construction records, inspection checklists, redline drawings, and as-built documentation. -Liaise between engineering, construction, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth integration of systems. -Lead hazard identification and mitigation strategies specific to chemical and fertilizer plant risks (e.g., ammonia handling, explosive atmospheres).
