Tasks

-Tends machines to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line. -Cut products to specific measurements as needed. -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. -Bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together. -Cleans equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures. -Works in environment where tasks change as varying models of product are produced. -Removes defective products as needed. -Places parts in specified relationship to each other. -Will be required to wear ear plugs for noise protection as well as eye protection and other personal protective equipment required by the location.

What You Bring

-Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to write simple correspondence. Verbal expression ability to effectively present information, in both individual and small group situations. -The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. -Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. -Prior carpentry experience helpful. -Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to read tape measure. -The employee must continuously lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. -The employee is continuously required to walk. -Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
