Tasks

-Develops relationships with existing clients and has responsibility for client maintenance at staff level on existing projects -Has full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments -Responsible for budget, schedule and quality standards -Responsible for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the water reuse field -Works closely with subconsultants on projects -Deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints -Carries out complex assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques or procedures to create new or refined equipment, material, processes or methods -Design of water, wastewater, and reuse treatment facilities -Plans, schedules, and conducts engineering work on projects of small to medium sizes -Assists in proposal preparation and interviews and may be included in contract negotiations with clients after selection

-Active in professional associations, including attendance and participation in local, regional, and national conventions -Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team -Travel required when requested -Must have demonstrated experience with managing and designing medium sized projects with full responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standards -Experience designing treatment plants, including development of conceptual/preliminary designs and detailed design document preparation -Proficient in MS Word and Excel -Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering -Registration as a Professional Engineer -Experience working with wastewater collection systems and water and reclaimed water transmission/distribution projects -10-15 years of design experience in the field of environmental consulting engineering with an emphasis in hydraulics, physical, chemical, and biological treatment processes and treatment plant design -Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
