Tasks

-Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic financial plans that align with the company's overall goals and objectives -Manage and oversee all accounting and financial activities, including budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow management -Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, lenders, and investors -Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and drive operational efficiency -Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and safeguard company assets -Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance and inform business decisions -Lead the annual budgeting and planning process, working closely with department heads to establish financial goals and objectives

What You Bring

-Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning -Proficient in using financial management software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills -Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or controller roles -Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred -Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis -Experience in Construction Accounting including Progressive Billing, WIP, and Job Costing -Experience in the renewable energy industry is a plus -Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders -Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
