Overview

Maintain and repair production equipment on 1st shift at West Des Moines plant

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Respond to requests to address and diagnose operational, quality, and/or mechanical problems when equipment is not operating properly. -Collaborate with management and other colleagues in decisions concerning operating problems regarding equipment. -Perform inspections and preventative maintenance duties on production equipment. -Disassemble, set up, adjust, and operate production equipment using diagrams, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications. -Perform daily, weekly, and monthly operator PMs on all production equipment per schedule. -Complete paperwork and documentation per the requirements of the management team

The Maintenance Technician must be able to set up, operate and perform mechanical repair of all production equipment and understand the equipment’s purpose. This individual must be able to problem solve and understand how the equipment operates. -Strong mechanical and troubleshooting aptitude -Strong communication skills. -Attention to detail. -Experience with industrial controls -Strong leadership and collaborative skills. -Ability to work under pressure. -3-5 years of previous experience
