Tasks

-Supports alignment between local procurement activities and division strategy. -Resolves issues related to procurement cost, quality, and delivery in their assigned area. -Tracks the procurement processes and activities and creates and updates reports, as required, following the ABB standards. -Tracks internal and supplier performance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), quality issues, and implements related development actions. -Ensures effective and transparent communication internally, externally, and between different units and centers. -Designs and implements plans and effective strategies for local sourcing of products/materials to reach business targets. -Executes and implements new changes related to purchasing and logistics within their own area of responsibility. -Applies and implements procurement standards, tools, and processes in their own area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability. -Executes purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products. -Delivers and participates in training programs as required to ensure compliance and foster professional development.

What You Bring

-Demonstrate initiative, rigor, and meticulousness. -Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively. -Advanced computer skills (MS Office Suite) -Bilingual proficiency is mandatory (French and English). French is required. English is necessary to communicate with clients outside Quebec on a regular basis. -Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong expertise and proven results. -Advanced Excel. -Knowledge of SAP (asset). -DEC in administration or Bachelor's degree in administration. -Knowledge in procurement. -Experience with product Metals (aluminum, copper) an asset.
