Conduct field & lab tests on construction materials, report findings.

Tasks

-Follow proper procedures, perform accurate computations, and maintain cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, and contractors -Perform routine field and laboratory tests and inspections to verify conformity with construction plans and specifications -Monitor, observe, and sample materials used in construction work -Prepare daily reports and data sheets

What You Bring

-One year of testing experience in soil, concrete, earthwork, and asphalt preferred (but not required) -Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or degree with an emphasis in physical sciences and/or math preferred -Good driving record -Ability to professionally communicate both orally and in writing -Perform heavy lifting of 50 or more pounds -Operate with close to moderate supervision
