Tasks
As Director of Engineering, you will lead the strategic development of our engineering division, shaping the design standards and execution of complex power delivery projects. This is a career-defining opportunity to build and scale an engineering organization that drives operational excellence and industry leadership. -Provide technical oversight, risk assessment, and resolution strategies across all phases of project execution. -Represent the company in technical forums, industry associations, and regulatory discussions. -Lead the design, specification, and technical review of engineering documents for substations, transmission and distribution lines, and energy storage facilities. -Develop and implement engineering best practices and standardized processes aligned with industry codes and organizational goals. -Contribute to strategic planning and annual business development initiatives. -Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, environmental standards, and utility requirements. -Forecast engineering resource needs and manage departmental operations to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. -Collaborate cross-functionally with project management, estimating, procurement, and business development teams to align engineering efforts with strategic objectives.

If you're passionate about technical excellence and building systems that power communities, we'd love to connect. -Proven ability to balance technical rigor, cost efficiency, and schedule demands. -Familiarity with renewable energy integration and energy storage technologies is a plus. -Expertise in substation design, transmission and distribution systems, and utility-scale energy infrastructure. -Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (Master's preferred). -Experience working directly with utilities and regulatory bodies. -Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred. -Minimum 12 years of engineering experience, with at least 8 years focused on power delivery systems.
