Electrical Pre-Construction Manager

Tasks

-Support Business Development in proposal presentations, interviews etc, and support Sales/Marketing in building General Contractor and Architect/Engineer relationships -Participation in the preparation of construction schedule for estimating purposes -Regular team building/employee appreciation activities -Identify new work opportunities -Responsible for discussing staffing requirements with operations in preparation of building a project team -Initiate and maintain contact with General Contractors and Architect and Engineering firms -Evaluate and analyzing subcontractor proposals -Responsible for the preparation of preliminary, schematic, design development, and construction document estimates and studies during preconstruction -Participates in design decisions, evaluations, studies, value engineering, value analysis, scheduling, and constructability reviews

What You Bring

-Experience with Accubid and/or Conest -Knowledge of all electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems. -Strong oral and written communication skills -Must have experience with large commercial and industrial projects (concept to close-out) -Expert computer software skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Particularly Excel) -4 years of estimating experience in a Pre-Construction Manager role -Knowledge of Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit
