Tasks

-Interim valuations, variation management, and final account preparation. -Measurement and quantity take-offs for interior fit-out works. -Cost reporting, forecasting, and budget tracking. -Liaising with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project budgets and programmes. -Assisting in procurement and overseeing subcontractor packages. -Supporting risk management and commercial decision-making throughout project delivery. -Preparation and management of subcontractor enquiries, tenders, and contracts.

What You Bring

-Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor working for a subcontractor, ideally in interior fit-out or commercial refurbishment. -Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel and commercial software, with strong communication skills. -Full driving licence with own transport (required for travel to projects across London). -Full and permanent right to work in the UK. -Applicants must live within roughly one hour of High Wycombe. -Office: High Wycombe (minimum 3 days per week). -Proactive, organised, and able to take ownership of commercial responsibilities on live projects. -Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Cost Management, or related discipline preferred. -Projects: Primarily London, with travel across the capital and South East as required. -Right to work in the UK is essential. -Must live within approximately one hour’s commute of High Wycombe. -Strong understanding of commercial management, cost control, and subcontractor engagement in the fit-out sector. -Role: Permanent, full-time, requiring a full UK driving licence and own transport.
