The Role

Overview

Manage daily office operations and support HR functions for the Boston office.

Tasks

-Act as the primary point of contact for office-related inquiries. -Assist in the coordination and execution of various HR and recruiting projects. -Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and general correspondence. -Coordinate meetings, appointments, and company events. -Generate monthly expense reports for the credit card statement. -Verify I-9 documentation, complete forms and follow-through with updates as required. -Oversee daily office operations, maintaining a professional and efficient workspace. -Maintain all mandatory postings, assuring timely updates to current versions. -Serve as a point of contact for employees on HR matters including benefits, policies, procedures, and general inquiries. -Assist with onboarding and orientation of new employees. -Update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance. -Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships. -Assist with administrative duties as needed. -Assist in planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.

What You Bring

-Exceptional interpersonal relationship skills. -Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information System). -Minimum 3 years' experience in an HR role. -5+ years' experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Manager, or similar role. -Detail-oriented and meticulous. -A high level of discretion and confidentiality. -A/E/C industry experience a plus. -Basic HR knowledge with an emphasis on Massachusetts laws and compliance. -Exceptional organizational and time management skills. -A proactive, problem-solving attitude and a strong work ethic. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office. -Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
