Tasks

-Provide professional services to clients in UK/Ireland and overseas -Providing HV design input to renewable energy projects e.g., Battery storage, Solar, Hydro and Wind generation -Owners’ Engineer role on HV substation/Cable and OHL projects -Providing engineering design input to major infrastructure projects

What You Bring

-Full driving license and access to a personal vehicle as site visits may be required as part of this role -Experience in Technical report writing -Experience as a designer or as project engineer -Experience of working on High Voltage design projects -Fluency in English -Consultancy experience -A Degree in Electrical Engineering -Experience of working with major utilities or developers -Experience in reviewing review detailed designs & witnessing construction site activities. -Chartered accreditation or working toward status -Experience of developing specifications or detailed designs for substation control systems, transformers, GIS, and AIS switchgear. -Experience of working on multi-discipline engineering projects -The ability to work flexibly across multiple projects -Primary plant layouts for HV substations
