Manage lab ops, NATA accreditation, budget, and team of up to 20 in Queensland

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Ensure safety and wellbeing of the laboratory team -Resolve staff and service issues effectively -Manage laboratory budget and monthly revenue reporting -Oversee laboratory operations including customer service, safety, staffing, and compliance -Maintain NATA accreditation and ensure adherence to ISO/IEC 17025 standards -Manage subcontractors and ensure asset compliance via Maximo/QEST -Lead and mentor a team -Prepare and submit monthly KPI reports -Deliver budgeted P&L improvements

What You Bring

-Proven leadership in team environments -Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 (desirable) -Current driver’s licence -Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills -Basic financial acumen -Previous experience in laboratory supervision or management -Effective communicator across diverse teams -Excellent planning and organisational skills -Diploma or Degree in a relevant field -Ability to lead audits and ensure compliance
