The Role

Overview

Lead and deliver £10m+ rail projects, overseeing customer relations, finances, safety, and team coordination.

Tasks

-Planning and ensuring the correct resource is booked and available to deliver the project (internal and external). -Developing the overall project delivery and reporting processes to ensure delivery of assigned project/s meet relevant standards and timeframes. -Acting as the customer interface for Telent on any allocated project. -Providing leadership and direction for the Project team -Undertaking regular Site Safety Inspections on project portfolio to promote a positive Health and Safety culture. -Subcontract selection and management. -The financial performance and reporting of all projects to both Telent and Customer stakeholders -Providing detailed and regular project reviews, reports and KPI’s for both telent and client review. -Ensuring material orders are placed on time and within the agreed budget -Supporting the bid team as required for tenders and responses.

What You Bring

-Working knowledge of Health and Safety regulations -Previous Senior Project Management experience of projects of min £10m -Excellent knowledge of P & L accounts -Team Management with direct reports and experience of Mentoring -Good working knowledge of MSP and Microsoft suite of tools -Ability to communicate at senior level with critical and time constrained delivery timescales.
