The Role

Overview

Tasks

-Collaborate with cost managers to ensure risk, contingency, and forecast alignment -Lead proactive risk identification and mitigation strategies across utility-related projects -Communicate risk insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels -Maintain and update comprehensive risk registers throughout project lifecycles -Provide expert guidance on risk best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives -Facilitate risk workshops with cross-functional teams to surface and address potential issues

What You Bring

-Familiarity with risk tools and software (e.g., @Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis, etc.) is a plus -Strong understanding of cost management principles and how they intersect with risk -10 + years of applicable work experience in project risk management, ideally within the utility or infrastructure space -Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Business, Accounting, or Project Management -Proven ability to lead risk workshops and drive actionable outcomes -Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
